Your role*:

Nurture a cohesive culture at the center level and actively contribute to the development of the center, this may include personnel and budget responsibility
Represent CEE in national and international conferences and networks
Develop the pipeline of competitive grants with academic research funding institutions (e.g., Swiss National Science Foundation, Innosuisse, European Union) and industry partners
Teach in the Bachelor, Master, executive programs and develop innovative pedagogical solutions

Your profile*:

PhD in economics, management sciences, industrial engineering or political science
Academic expertise, evidenced by publications in relevant journals, in the field of energy economics and/or climate policy
Knowledge and experience in empirical research methods, such as surveys, field experiments and quantitative text analysis
Ability for and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team
Proven track record in the acquisition of third party funded projects with academic research funding institutions and/or with practice partners
High level of knowledge of the Swiss and European energy and/or climate policy, and a strong academic and/or business network in Switzerland or Europe
Experience and training in teaching to different audiences, manifested through evaluations with consistently high ratings
Leadership skills
Excellent communication skills in English and German are essential; other languages might be a plus
