Your role


As a Financial Accountant, you will be joining our global Finance team to assume a broad accounting function with a strong commercial aspect.

You will be the main contact person internally and externally for all German accounting related matters.

This position will assume responsibility for the preparation of the year-end financial statements, and will work with third party providers on the tax filings for a number of German entities including Limited Partnerships (Kommanditgesellschaft) and Limited Companies (GmbH).


As part of your responsibilities, you will prepare monthly Management Accounts including the analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Income Statements, General Ledger items and Liquidity Forecasts.

You will liaise with external auditors to ensure audits are planned and executed accordingly within required timelines. You will report directly to our Group Finance Director.


This role will be based at our centrally located HQ in Zurich or alternatively, remote working from Germany with travel to Zurich could be considered.


Your expertise

  • At least 6 years of professional accounting and finance experience, including a minimum of 2 years as an inhouse Financial Accountant within an international fastpaced environment.
  • Degree in Accounting or qualified / partqualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Management accounting and German tax knowledge.
  • Solid financial accounting skills with the ability to analyse and interpret variances.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
