For one of our clients, located in Neuchâtel, we are currently looking for a Buyer.

Your assignments?

  • Lead and participate in negotiation sessions with suppliers
  • Prepare, implement and verify compliance of appropriate contracts
  • Be the main point of contact for interactions with strategic suppliers and evaluate their performance
  • Perform data analysis on suppliers, market, costs and prices of supplier goods and services using available data
  • Assess the risks in the supply and align with the project manager as to the acceptable level of risk of the projects and take them into consideration for the commercial negotiation with the suppliers
  • Perform periodic supplier audits/assessments and visits and provide feedback to procurement managers
  • Manage and monitor technical purchases (external systems), investments and subcontracting
  • Prevent and monitor announced obsolescence
  • Optimize and improve purchasing processes
  • Produce regular activity reports
  • Lead and participate in development and improvement projects.
Your Profile ?

  • Technical background, with a proven experience in the field of purchasing,
  • Fluent German and English (oral and written),
  • Good knowledge of French,
  • Very good knowledge of an ERP (SAP would be an advantage) and MS-Office tools
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiatives and set priorities, and to work both in a team and independently to achieve common goals
  • Ability to develop profitable solutions with our external partners

CHF70, CHF92,000.00 per year
