QC Laboratory Technician (100%)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


In this role, you will be involved in range of different laboratory related activities, however predominantly responsible for inspecting and testing raw materials, parts and finished products, to ensure they meet all the required levels of quality.

Our devices are of high technical complexity, including mechanics, optics, electronics, fluidics, software, and biochemistry components. Your role is critical in ensuring we consistently deliver quality products to our customers around the world.

Head of Supply Chain Operations


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run quality measurements on all Creoptix WAVE system instruments
  • Perform incoming control inspections for components and consumables using various test protocols and equipment
  • Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses
  • Prepare detailed reports to document results
  • Support the continuous improvement of existing test protocols and contribute to the development of new control measures and tests
  • Support Engineering by performing specific tests of software under development
  • Pipetting and preparation of various solutions and buffers according to internal procedures
  • First Experience in SAP QM and is an advantage, as well as handson experience in ISO 9001 and/or ISO Accurately track Lab inventories and expiry dates
  • Provide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs and by conducting laboratory safety audits
  • Investigation of deviations and unexpected results, troubleshooting

What we expect:

  • Concluded Chemical/Biology Laboratory technician apprenticeship or higher degree (HFP, HF, bachelor)
  • 23 years practical work experience in a Biochemistry lab
  • Highquality awareness
  • Able to pipette various solutions and buffers confidently and accurately
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Aware of EHS standards related to laboratory field
  • Excellent Microsoft/ERP/IT and analytical skills
  • Fast learner, efficient and able to deliver accurate results
  • Reliable, independent, with a precise mindset
  • A team player, with a helpful and professional attitude
  • A strong work ethic in line with our company values

What would be an advantage:

  • Experience in working with fluidic analytical devices (e.g., LC, HPLC, LC-MS)
