Beschreibung
The role of Key Account Manager, Western Switzerland is a pivotal position within our Sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, Switzerland and Italy, you will be responsible for directly managing and developing the Independent, Lifestyle, Sporting Goods and Outdoor Account channel's strategic accounts for the assigned categories of business in the Western Switzerland region.
This involves working with the Sales Manager to develop sales strategies by account, adhering to account proposals to maximize full price selling and margin, and achieving mutually agreed upon annual sales targets including both the top-line results and specific product segmentation strategy that drive maximum channel profitability.
Additionally, you will provide detailed sales analysis that accurately reflect demand in the marketplace, effectively launch new seasons by ensuring stores look great and store staff are knowledgeable, ensure Icebreaker and Smartwool inventory flows effectively and responsibly through the Swiss Outdoor, Sporting Goods, Lifestyle and Independent market, and implement the right Icebreaker and Smartwool product assortment within strategic accounts and the greater Outdoor, Sporting Goods, Lifestyle and Independent channel.
You will also maintain account plans that are aligned to deliver and support brand sales directions and merchandising strategies, use an effective consultative approach to providing insight-based solutions to strategic accounts, build insightful and influential brand ambassadors within strategic accounts, and utilize understanding of industry trends, market/competitor data to develop account and business plans.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with marketing and brand experience on in-store events and marketing campaigns, fully understand the customer's needs and decision-making process to create win-win solutions, and collaborate with operational stakeholders internally to ensure smooth inventory flow.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills, commercial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, proficiency in French and English is required, with Swiss German being a plus. This role requires travel up to 25% of the time.
