To strengthen our Life Sciences team, we are looking for an
Intern Data Engineering with Life Sciences Background - (M/F/d) for a period of 6+ months**-

Bring to life what's next:

Collaborate with the team to develop effective and engaging presentations for clients.
Develop storylines that effectively communicate complex data analysis to a nontechnical audience.
Work with team members to create compelling data visualizations that support the storylines of presentations.
Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows using programming languages such as Python, R or Java, and related tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Jenkins.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate data processing tasks.
Collaborate with data scientists and data analysts to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality.
Build and maintain data storage and retrieval systems (e.g. data warehouses) to enable efficient data management.
Assist with data cleaning, processing, and analysis tasks as required.
Assist with the development and implementation of data management and governance frameworks.
Continuously evaluate and improve presentation and storyline effectiveness based on client feedback.
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Your qualifications:

Academic excellence: currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related fields.

Consulting experience: previous experiences in consulting favorable.

Conceptual talent: strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Communication and presentation skills: Fluent in English (C1 level, written and spoken). German or French skills would be a plus. Strong communication skills and proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Prezi, or other relevant tools.

Digital affinity: strong programming skills in Python, and R. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Cultural fit: high reliability, team spirit, and personal fit for a leading global management consulting firm (international orientation & openness to travel, integrity).
