Tasks
- Support project acquisition and management, including acquisition of thirdparty funding and manpower when needed, reporting to management, own continuing education (20%)
- Consulting (20%)
- Project work (50%)
- Service maintenance (5%)
- Continuing education (5%)
- Optionally is director support with corresponding reduction of other tasks
Requirements:
- Author and coauthor of at least 5 publications
- Experience from research projects and teaching
- Good understanding of typical university structures
- Team worker, project leader, high availability in agreed periods
- Goal and service oriented personality with excellent English communication skills (German is a strong asset)
- Scientific staff employment for 4 years with possible permanent extension (it is not a research career position)
- International research environment ranging from theology via humanities down to physics
- Extremely multidisciplinary engaged team (in particular in ML and AI)
- Offices at the main railway station of Bern (most beautiful city on the planet)
- Conditions according to cantonal regulations and flexible working hours
- Mandatory time for own continuing education and coauthoring in support projects
