Participate in the power supply in Switzerland

In this exciting position, you will work on the development of a prototype that pilots artificial intelligence to assess the condition of systems.

This interdisciplinary activity is carried out in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

You will mainly be responsible for the following tasks:

Design and establishment of a database for the AI-based monitoring system of assets
Definition of selection criteria for media to assist the project partner with the development of an automatic asset recognition model
Monitoring, model testing and validation in collaboration with the project partner; evaluation of the applicability of the model for the Swissgrid concept
Identification of technical sensors for monitoring and controlling grid elements
Team members can be assisted with other ongoing projects depending on requirements and interests

To fill this position, we are looking for a team player with a reliable, structured and quality-conscious way of working.


You must also have the following:
Bachelor's degree (already completed or to be obtained in the near future) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering, computer science or a similar field
Ideally, initial experience in asset management for technical systems in the electricity distribution grid
Familiarity with electrical energy systems
Very good English language skills; good knowledge of German would be an advantage What we offer

It is an interdisciplinary team that works with partners to develop a joint project that aims to use artificial intelligence to assist with the assessment of the condition of systems.
