Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Strategic Business Unit Weighing Solutions is in charge for the highend Laboratory weighing and dosing business within METTLER TOLEDO. As market leader, we differentiate us from followers with unique innovations with perceived customer value. Our main markets are the Pharma, Chemical, Food and Testing Lab industry for R&D, Quality Control and Scaleup/Preproduction workplaces.

In order to ensure the steady growth of the Laboratory Weighing Unit and to guarantee always a high product quality, we are looking for a goal
- and strategically oriented Product Manager % (all genders).

In this role, your responsibilities include:

You will take end-to-end responsibility for managing the Excellence laboratory analytical balance portfolio.
You will develop the solution strategy accordingly and ensure continuous improvements.
Driving business cases and value propositions for new solutions and collaborating with R&D in product development projects will also be a part of your responsibilities.
As you promote solutions actively at market organizations, you will utilize a valueselling approach.
You will define related sales and marketing tools for effective execution and successful portfolio promotion.
Planning and executing sales trainings, events, and market introductions to drive a robust gotomarket strategy will be your responsibility.
You will work in conjunction with business area managers and the sales force to ensure twoway communication between product management and market organizations.

What You Need to Succeed

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

You hold a Scientific University/FH degree, preferably in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharma.
Prior laboratory experience is required.
You possess a minimum of 35 years of relevant work experience within an international environment, ideally in a global matrix organization.
Strong customer focus combined with analytical approach and commercial acumen are essential.
You should have a good sense for business opportunities and a proactive attitude.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are a must, and German is a significant plus.
The ability to network and communicate effectively with market organizations and customers through excellent interpersonal skills is crucial.
Strong organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously are necessary.
You should be willing and able to travel up to 20%.
