Role Purpose


The main purpose of this position is to play a key role in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process in the area of Cash Flow.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Taking on leadership and accountability in the accuracy of Group's financial statements and therefore is the main point of contact for any issue and responds to requests coming from top management
  • In charge of internal and external presentation of Monthly, Quarterly Financial Group figures and provides audited IFRS compliant external reporting as well as nonIFRS performance measures for legally binding published presentations (Annual report, Press Release) as well as for the monthly internal presentations to ECN and Board of Directors of Sandoz Group.
  • Responsible of several Notes in the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Report
  • Providing guidance to the local and divisional teams in the area of consolidation on transctions such as mergers, deconsolidations, spinoff, new acquisitions
  • Supporting affiliates to report high quality financial figures and achieve a high quality reporting level
  • Ensuring accounting and reporting correctness
  • Contributing to global team missions and projects to improve the reporting process
  • Controlling and maintaining of selected accounting standards within the reporting process. Representing Group consolidation in working groups.

Minimum requirements

  • Higher education, such as Degree of Economics or Business Administration or Chartered Accountant
  • Professional experience in Accounting/Consolidation or in an economic environment, ideally in financial reporting or accounting preferred, audit experience and background, previous External Reporting experience
