We are looking for talented University Graduates Kick-start your career with our Focus-Track Graduate Programme within the Finance division at Julius Baer.

Our Graduate Programme supports your individual journey to unleash your full potential. We offer you three rotations in different teams, on
- and off-the-job training and the opportunity to start building your own network. Each rotation is designed to provide you with in‐depth knowledge and a sound foundation to perform in your focus area and beyond. One of these rotations will be an international assignment, enabling you to work abroad for a period of months.

Join the Finance division and become part of the CFO Products & Balance Sheet and Group Treasury teams in Zurich.

We offer you the opportunity to build up and leverage your banking and finance know-how in the following three functions:

Finance Investment & Wealth Management Solutions
Pricing & Revenue Development
Treasury / Treasury Analytics

Our Focus-Track provides you with a holistic experience across Julius Baer's Finance division.

Our teams are responsible for divisional and group-wide performance analyses and deliver the insights to the Group CFO and other members of the management team.

We drive strategic cross-divisional initiatives, identify, and conceptualize revenue optimization measures, and support our Group Treasury with the steering of our CHF 100+bn balance sheet.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

What to work on?

Presentations on strategic initiatives to the Group CEO and other Senior Mgmt. members
Enhanced finance analytics to help steer executive decisions
Financial assessment of business cases to support divisional management
Digitization of processes and agile development of pricing tools in a global context
Project management and collaboration with various stakeholders across the bank

What to learn?

Swiss and international wealth management market trends and developments
General bank business model (e.g., sources of revenues, investment opportunities), strategy, and steering measures
Full spectrum of products and services of a global wealth manager
Pricing measures and revenue optimization strategies across global offering
Key balance sheet and financial performance metrics of a Private Bank

YOUR PROFILE:

Exceptional academic record: Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences, ideally in finance, banking, economics, data science, business administration or accounting (graduation max. 12 months ago)
Practical and theoretical expertise in banking products and financial markets is a plus
Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills
Very good communication and presentation skills
Entrepreneurial mindset, proactivity, and willingness to take on responsibility
Team player and professional interaction with stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge in Tableau, Power BI and R preferred
Fluent in German & English, other languages an advantage
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) an advantage or willingness to obtain it
Eligibility to work in Switzerland
