The role of the
Global Portfolio Manager Video Security Solutions is to lead a distributed team of Portfolio managers driving business success in Siemens Security Solutions.

You will work in tight collaboration with Siemens regional teams to develop and lead the entire lifecycle of a comprehensive, competitive, and innovative offering of Security Solutions and Services.

Your responsibilities

Establish strong collaboration and a community working environment with regional portfolio teams to generate business impact
Consolidate and prioritize regional market requirements based on customer needs
Act as the single point of contact for our colleagues from products' Business Units within Siemens
Establish and manage successful business relationships with global third party partners providing complementary portfolios as integrated solutions to our customers
Steer and support regional teams to roll out portfolio innovations and the gotomarket approach, to ensure customer impact
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities beyond security leading to additional profitable growth
Continuously monitor market drivers & trends and analyze the competition
Identify, develop and drive adoption of new digital services providing outcomes for our customers
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze, implement and harmonize methods, digital tools and processes, to excel productivity in sales, execution and service delivery

Your skills and experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, business & engineering, or a similar field from a university or university of applied sciences
At least 8 years of experience in portfolio management with deep market understanding in physical security, especially in the video and IT domain
Strong collaboration and leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in working with distributed and virtual teams in an international environment
Proficient in English, other European languages are an advantage
