The role of the
Global Portfolio Manager Video Security Solutions is to lead a distributed team of Portfolio managers driving business success in Siemens Security Solutions.

You will work in tight collaboration with Siemens regional teams to develop and lead the entire lifecycle of a comprehensive, competitive, and innovative offering of Security Solutions and Services.

Your responsibilities

  • Establish strong collaboration and a community working environment with regional portfolio teams to generate business impact
  • Consolidate and prioritize regional market requirements based on customer needs
  • Act as the single point of contact for our colleagues from products' Business Units within Siemens
  • Establish and manage successful business relationships with global third party partners providing complementary portfolios as integrated solutions to our customers
  • Steer and support regional teams to roll out portfolio innovations and the gotomarket approach, to ensure customer impact
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities beyond security leading to additional profitable growth
  • Continuously monitor market drivers & trends and analyze the competition
  • Identify, develop and drive adoption of new digital services providing outcomes for our customers
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze, implement and harmonize methods, digital tools and processes, to excel productivity in sales, execution and service delivery

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, business & engineering, or a similar field from a university or university of applied sciences
  • At least 8 years of experience in portfolio management with deep market understanding in physical security, especially in the video and IT domain
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with distributed and virtual teams in an international environment
  • Proficient in English, other European languages are an advantage
