About the job:


The Clinical Program Manager will coordinate with Clinical, Regulatory, Field, Data Science & Analytics and Quality teams to strategically plan, execute and report on clinical studies at ONWARD.

The Clinical Program Manager will play a critical role in the team by providing high-level support to clinical team leadership to ensure the efficient operation of the division.

This will include overseeing of team-wide annual initiatives and goals, establishing standardization procedures for the clinical budget and facilitating communication across cross-functional divisions.

The Clinical Program Manager will also be responsible for the grant portfolio, ensuring the successful execution of ongoing grant work, and actively driving the submission of new grant proposals to fund new clinical studies and technology development work.

This position will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities that align with the company roadmap and leverage existing and future resources effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardization processes for clinical study management to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Clinical team to ensure adherence to protocols, data collection, and monitoring activities.
  • Contribute to the design of new studies, providing insights and expertise based on previous experience and industrybest practices.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of clinical studies to key stakeholders.
  • Gather and refine project documentation for internal review, ensuring completeness and accuracy for decisionmaking processes.
  • Contribute to the development of study and team budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Assist in managing and tracking teamwide goals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines and companywide goals.
  • Act as a point of contact for various crossfunctional divisions, facilitating updates and communication.
  • Spearhead submission of new grant proposals within the framework of company goals and current and future resource needs.
  • Develop grant proposals, budgets, and project plans in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
  • Serve as the project coordinator for ongoing grant projects, overseeing collaboration between internal and external teams.
  • Regular reporting of grant projects progress to external funding agencies including yearly project reviews and monthly financial reporting.
  • Facilitate contracting processes for new grant proposals.
  • Performs other duties as required.

About you:


  • Advanced masters scientific degree or equivalent is required. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.
D. in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, neural engineering or neuroscience.

  • Experience in the medical technology industry, including actively participating in the design and execution of clinical trials, monitoring market dynamics, and staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Strong background in grant funding processes and demonstrate exceptional grantsmanship skills.
  • Proficient financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to successfully negotiate contracts, manage contractual processes, and foster productive relationships in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Extensive experience with technical writing and a strong scientific publication record in neuromodulation, or related, field.
  • Proven experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders, teams, and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate grant proposals, assess project impact, and measure outcomes.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Capable of working in an international (European and beyond) environment.
  • People manager with strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results oriented, handson and thrives well in an innovative, fastpaced and performance driven organization.
