Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Scientific Associate Director Drug Product Pharmaceutical Development to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis located in Boudry.

Our client is focused on developing drugs to treat immunology and cancer.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

For this position, you will be accountable for growing and consistently updating a scientific knowledge base.
Handle/guide tactical projects, for example: Technology Transfer of a drug product from Development; from project initiation to closure, which involves after action evaluations.
Cooperate with other MS&T functions offering technical/scientific knowledge and assistance to manufacturing sites.
Implement and advocate the use of QbD, Lean and 6 Sigma strategies.
Support the authoring and evaluation of CMC documentation affiliated with project or manufacturing alterations.
Interact with manufacturing sites/development and CRO/CMOs.
Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in an engineering, pharmacy, natural science or similar field.
At least 15 years of experience in drug product pharmaceutical/biotechnology development or production.
Expertise on QA, cGMP and the Pharmaceutical Regulatory framework.
Knowhow of multiple types of pharmaceutical drug product Manufacturing processes/technologies.
Knowhow of technology transfer and validation.
Familiarity in a project leadership/management role.
Acquaintance with multisite/crosssite project management.
Expertise on QbD, Lean and 6 Sigma strategies.
Fluency in the English language with knowledge in another European language would be ideal.
