As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems.

The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.

Kopter is set to become Leonardo's Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems.

Kopter's 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

Responsibilities:

The Strategic Purchaser is responsible for:

Sourcing of AW09 Dynamic Work packages
Program management of suppliers providing AW09 Dynamic Work packages, expedite deliveries of the parts and monitor supplier development activity, timely escalating criticalities
Coordinate timely submission of Purchasing Orders, in accordance with the internal function needs
Ensuring compliance with guiding principles and values of the company

Tasks:

To send RFI, RFQs, NDAs and coordinate activities related to those documents
Analyse offers, select suppliers, write Selection Reports, or any other applicable Procurement documents required in the LHD Procurement Process as part of sourcing
Commercial and contractual negotiations on the direct category assigned
Continuous expediting of part deliveries and issues escalation

Your qualifications & experience

Education in business administration / economics and/or similar further education
34 years of professional experience in commercial and contractual negotiations in an international environment, ideally negotiations of Terms and Condition clauses
34 years of experience in managing business relations with Suppliers or Customers
Project Management experience an asset
Analytical Skills
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
English spoken and written
C
German and/or French an asset
General knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Mgmt.)
