THORATEC CORPORATION is a company that develops, manufactures, and markets proprietary medical devices used for mechanical circulatory support for the treatment of heart-failure patients worldwide. It is a global leader in mechanical circulatory support devices, particularly in ventricular assist devices (VADs).
In our Zurich (technopark) based site, we are currently recruiting a Production Technician.
The main responsibilities include:
- Activities include settingup, calibrating and operating machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards, monitoring production processes, and troubleshooting production problems.
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels.
You will:
- Work under limited supervision
- Responsible production activities.
- Work with chemicals.
- Shift work in Cleanroom.
You have:
- School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- German and English language skills
