Hobson Prior are looking for a HVAC & Clean Room C&Q Engineer to join an excellent Biotechnology organisation on a permanent basis.

Our Client is focused on helping people improve the world's health, cleanliness, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution and approval of commissions, including vendor supervision.
Installation Qualification execution and approval, including OQ release.
Performing the operational qualification and approving it, including releasing the handover for PQ.
Manage HVAC and Cleaning Room CQ activities.
Assist the CVQ Team in its daily operations.
Maintain control over relevant systems' activities and schedules.
Communicate with other departments and manage CVQ resources.
Meet Health/Safety/Environmental/Quality requirements/procedures
Ensure the integration of activities and schedules with relevant vendors/providers/contractors, and project automation representatives.
Take an active part in the development and delivery of deliverables related to the relevant systems.
Assist in resolving project issues, including maintaining punches and deviations.
Provide assistance in assessing project risks and evaluating mitigation strategies.

Key Skills

Ability to maintain a fastpaced work environment by prioritizing and executing tasks.
Fluent in the English language with written and verbal communication skills.
German is an advantage but not required.
Able to work with the least amount of oversight to deliver deliverables within target dates.

Requirements:

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in a life science or engineering field.
A minimum of four years' experience in pharmaceutical/biotech CQV activities (Commissioning, IQ, OQ, PQ).
Knowledgeable about HVAC and clean rooms.
Air balancing, differential pressure regimes, and monitoring experience with HVAC systems
Testing experience with HEPA
Monitoring of room temperature and humidity
Experience preparing and implementing viable and nonviable sample plans.
An understanding of biopharmaceuticals.
A thorough understanding of cGMPs and regulatory requirements.
