Beschreibung

Research, develop and deploy digital fabrication material solutions and systems to position CEMEX as a leader in additive and automated construction.

Main Responsibilities:

Participate in the development of new products/solutions/techniques in the lab based on cementitious materials, concrete products or hybrid systems including other materials wood, steel, insulationand building structures.
Support industrialization and implementation of new digitalized construction solution and production of new building products and construction techniques within CEMEX operation worldwide.
Manage and plan activities, coordinate resources and prioritize tasks within a portfolio of multiple projects.
Train and share knowledge with the rest of the company on digital construction.
Establish a network with key external labs, research centers, and universities.
Lead and train operators and concrete technicians
Provide assessment in novel equipment and techniques applied to digital manufacturing and engineering.
Generate new intangibles and strengthen CEMEX knowhow

Position Challenges:

Manage R&D project's deadlines and operation's expectations.
Coordinate internal requests for concrete testing and development.
Ensure effective communication within the R&D team.
Train and motivate internal operators/technicians.

Qualifications:

Written and spoken English any other languages Spanish, German, French is an advantage.

Academic Background

Engineer, Master's degree, or PhD in material science is required

Areas of expertise

Technical knowledge in digital fabrication, additive manufacturing and/or concrete technology, in precast production,, and testing expertise in this field is required.
Admixture, cement/mortar technology and sustainable materials knowledge is an advantage.

Technical Skills

35 years of experiences in Precast or R&D laboratories
Basic 3D modeling skills required, familiarity with Rhino3D/Grasshopper/Rhino CAM or equivalent a plus.

Soft Skills

Open mind, creativity, and ability to work in R&D environment.
Organized, selfsufficient, independent, and hard working

Technical and Operation Managers at CEMEX's Concrete and Admixtures operations
