Tasks
- Analytics and synthesis in the laboratory
- Preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Setting up and monitoring experiments
- Recording live data from experiments in a lab journal and entering the data into a computer post experiment
- Preparing solutions and working with hazardous materials, such as acids and other chemicals
- Stockroom duties (to include glassware washing, inventory control, safety data sheet management, general cleaning, waste management, and other duties as assigned)
- Obtaining supplies or equipment as required and/or directed
Requirements:
- Necessary education/scientific knowledge/background in chemistry
- Experience in analytical equipment and general laboratory equipment
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Fully competent in German and English preferred
