You will provide strategic and operational management to AO’s MENA boards as well as managing the team for the region.Global Networks Regional Manager MENAIn this role you will be required to:Managing the budget and financial performanceOrchestrating the Regional Board of one or more clinical specialties and country councilsManaging a teamEnsuring professional planning and execution of educational eventsBuild relationship with partnersDriving innovation in education and network management and implementing appropriate stakeholder communicationManaging communication to various stakeholdersManage fellowships, local surgeon networks and research programsEnsuring compliance of the region with legal, external and internal regulationsIn order to master this challenge, you should have:University or similar degreeIdeally at least five years proven significant professional management experience in a regional functionExperience and passion to work in the MENA regionPractice in establishing and implementing a strategic planA background in the medical or scientific field and/or experience with medical education would be an advantageStrong leadership, project management and communication skillsA proactive and service-oriented personality and consensus-orientedThe ability to manage strong personalitiesA convincing personality who can negotiate and deal on all levelsA high stress resistanceThe willingness to travel (up to 30%)Fluency in English is a must.
