Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Antenatal Ward, Pregnancy Day Stay Unit (PDSU) and Adult Acute Care Unit of The Royal Hospital for Women to achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. The position is responsible to the Midwifery Unit Manager of Antenatal, PDSU and Acute Care and Clinical Co-Director of Maternity Services. Selection Criteria: Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks in a demanding environment, with evidence of previous experience in a clerical capacity. Experience of responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment. Demonstrated sound problem solving skills. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with and contribute to a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service, with a customer focused approach, and commitment to quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures. Ability to learn and use computer hardware, software applications and electronic systems at a basic level in accordance with policy and procedure. A commitment to the provision of excellent health care services to women.
