Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Group Strategy and M&A Manager to join our growing and successful Group Strategy & Development team. This role will report into the Group Head of Strategy and M&A.

You will work closely on topics of high interest and visibility to the company management team, including the group?s CEO, CFO and Regional General Managers.

The role is based in our Headquarter in Geneva (Versoix).

You will be a key member of our Strategy & Development Team. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role and have a direct impact on feeding the management team?s conversations on strategy, growing Verisure?s business internationally, and being part of a growing, ambitious and high-performing company that is the clear market leader in Europe (close to 3x our closest competitor) and a major player in LatAm.

As Group Strategy & Development Senior Associate, you will be responsible for understanding and keeping a pulse on Verisure?s competitive environment and the category at large as well as supporting all Group M&A endeavours (whether bolt-on acquisitions or technology alliances). You will be instrumental in generating strategic insights on the business environment, consumer expectations and fast evolving competitive context (including threats & opportunities coming from the global Consumer Electronics space), helping to drive the Group strategic agenda for the CEO and Management Team to act upon.

Key Responsibilities

This role provides an outstanding platform for a highly talented individual to work on a range of critical competitive strategy, category lighthouse and pure M&A projects, leading a tight team of junior resources, interfacing with all critical functions within the Group (Legal, Technology, Marketing, Arlo), and working in close collaboration with the core Management Team of the company.

  • Competitive Intelligence: tracking and profiling main competitors in each of Verisure?s geographies (both to track changes in the competitive landscape, and as potential future M&A targets)
  • Category Intelligence: supporting the development of a structured and organized Category Intelligence function (including keeping track of online activities, app downloads and usage, and retail throughput)
  • M&A: analyze potential transactions available to the Group, and execute on the most attractive ones (with support from local Verisure operations and external advisors as relevant)
  • Prepare presentations to relevant stakeholders, including CEO, Management Team, and Board
  • Interact with Verisure?s internal Finance, Legal, Marketing, Technology and Business Leaders
  • In general, inform and help shape the Management Team?s conversations on Group strategy
  • Candidate profile

    Experience and Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have an outstanding academic background, and a proven track record as a proactive, solution-oriented advisor focused on driving value to the business.

  • Top-tier, successful educational background (engineering or business administration)
  • 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably with top Strategy Consulting, Finance or Inv. Banking
  • Flawless analytical skills (perfect data organization and processing, ability to sift nuggets from noise)
  • Absolute management of confidentiality
  • Resourcefulness (not all data is available, not all is
