The Global Visual Merchandising Designer is responsible for helping the Global Visual Merchandising Manager to develop global VM strategy and support execution of global Brand vision. The Global VM Designer will participate in design and development of all merchandising elements for all aspects of La Prairie installations from displays, decoration, artistry, launch outpost scenography etc. as well in creation of visual merchandising guidelines according to the international marketing plan and/or specific market requests.
360 Activation: Design and develop the full launch of temporary VM to provide retailtainment activation for specific products and continue the brand story Create scenography for windows, podiums, outposts...according to different distribution channels and space locations Elaborate launch POSM and permanent POSM graphic execution files and launch POSM and scenography execution files (2D and 3D) Prepare items and presentation (3D renderings, mock-ups, slides) for internal validation Create planograms according to Global and Regional marketing plans Create the merchandising guidelines on time for each launch (InDesign, in English): assets descriptions, visual recommendation, technical plans, planogram etc. Establish assets reference numbers, technical and production follow-up with Procurement team and suppliers
Permanent Visual Merchandising Collection: Design and develop the storytelling, artistry and accessories for the permanent visual merchandising collection to enhance and amplify brand expression and create engagement at POS Update the permanent VM Guidelines, all tools and libraries Support store design team in the opening of new stores with visual merchandising recommendation
Creation/innovation: Add creative ideas to design and create elements that have impact, are effective and innovative, for use at the POS Identify and suggest areas of improvements to increase visibility and brand presence at POS Follow merchandising trends, new materials with focus on sustainability Generate competitive intelligence and share with the rest of the store design and visual merchandising team Be proactive in providing ideas and content beyond the classic merchandising tools
Organization: Manage projects given to agencies and freelancers (create brief, ask for quotes, follow up...) Work closely with Store design team and all Global Marketing departments: creative team, brand team, COMPR team, digital team etc., Procurement team. Actively engage with our Regional team to gather feedback and review quality and execution at POS after each launch/activation Categorise and archive all items/guidelines produced to be accessible to the other team members
Bachelor or Master in Interior Architecture/Architecture or Design
Demonstrate design & project management skills with minimum 3 years of experience in related field
Proficient in current industry standard computer skills: AutoCAD; 3D skills: Rhino, Studio Max, Sketchup, Cinema 4D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator
Proficient in MS applications (Office 360, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Must be an organised team player with solid interpersonal skills
Proactive and curious person, accountable and attention to details
Elevated curiosity in art, design, architecture, photography etc.
“Can-do” attitude, willingness to think outside the box in order to find new solutions
Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude
