Job DescriptionBrand & Customer Manager - Oncology We are recruiting for a Brand & Customer Manager (BCM) who will be dedicated to the Multi-Indication Team (MIT) in the Oncology Business Unit and report directly to the Franchise Lead Oncology (MIT). Purpose of the roleThe BCM Oncology is responsible to define and implement the marketing and promotional strategies and activities to support the growth of our Oncology portfolio. In this critical role the BCM will work cross-functionally together with the Sales Team, Market Access, the Commercial Operations and the Digital & Data Analytics team to implement the Oncology Business Unit strategy. Furthermore, you will work together with Medical Affairs to provide critical customer insights and a coordinated approach to the implementation of promotional and non-promotional field-based activities.Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following key activities:Strategy:Analyze local market trends and identify commercial opportunities; allocate resources and manage budgetsDevelop strategies for major accounts and track, monitor progress and adjust activities accordinglyUnderstand and articulate the Customer Buying Process into a marketing planDetermine segmentation strategy based on input from all groups interacting with customersProvide forecasting and track local initiatives and utilization of local promotion budgets (oversight)Commercial activities:Accountable for the delivery of the marketing strategy and tactics to deliver performanceUnderstand the Customers channel preferences; develop and implement innovative programs and services in line with Customer needsLeverage digital and search for new and innovative ways of interacting with CustomersAchieve the optimal channel mix for customer while seeking synergies and efficienciesUtilize materials developed by the global / regional organizations or develop new ones to personalize the offeringProject Management & Collaboration:Lead cross functional Brand team and align around regional strategyAlign with Medical Affairs and provide input on local medical initiatives Share and implement best practices across the business unit / affiliationCollaborate closely with the sales manager and the sales force and ensure that customer and field insights are continuously collected and processedIndependently lead and support pan-tumour marketing projects within the agile multi-indication marketing teamYour profile Masters degree, Life Sciences or another relevant discipline with healthcare curriculum preferredStrong scientific background or acquired skills in Oncology4+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or related business experience2+ years Swiss Oncology market experience preferredExperience in Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs and/or Account Management within healthcare industry is a plusDemonstrated expertise in partnering with customers, building sustainable relationships and leveraging customer insights to drive solutions and strategies across the franchise to address unmet needsResult-orientated with a proven track record of success for consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative targets or qualitative objectivesExperience working with co-promotion or co-commercialization partners is a plusHigh level of analytical skillsAbility to influence, and work effectively within a matrix and multi-cultural environmentExcellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, French language skills are advantageousActively listen and seek to understand differing perspectives; work together to achieve the common goals of the teamDigital SavvinessUnderstanding of new ways of working (i.e.: Agile, Scrum)Our Human Health Division maintains a patient first, profits later ideology.
