Beschreibung:
What you achieve You help us keep the inhouse big data monitoring and anomaly detection platform on the cutting edge. We are a team of polyglot software engineers, SREs/DevOps, and data scientists, always learning and pushing limits. By analysing data from sources like system metric, network metadata log files, or trouble tickets, we deliver real-time insights into service quality.

You combine strong software engineering skills in distributed systems with creativity to help us evolve our platform regarding automation, scalability, resilience, performance, availability, self-service, algorithms improvements and alerting relevance. Eager to analyse and explore data, mostly in the form of time series, you transform insights into highly scalable data pipelines and improve algorithmic capabilities for predictive maintenance and analytics cases. As a polyglot engineer, you leverage current technologies and keep the operations footprint low. You built it - you run it: your code quality is always production ready.

Why you succeed

Bachelor's or Master's degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science or related field
8+ years of experience in software development with Java/Scala and Python
Track record of successfully building and maintaining big data applications and real-time data pipelines using Kafka, HDFS, Flink, Spark, Kafka Streams or similar
Hands-on experience with microservices architectures, REST, Docker, Kubernetes
Strong DevOps skills: CI/CD, xUnit, TDD, Jenkins, Helm/Kustomize, bash script
Experience in automating unit, integration and component tests
Willing to work as DevOps engineer on-call
Solution-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive, eager to learn and experiment with new technologies, data, and tools
Very good English, German or French a plus
