Work independently to identify market opportunities, evaluate product concepts, and lead new product launch projects and initiatives from concept through Proof of Concept, and Pilot, with ongoing ownership to drive adoption.
Examine internal and external trends to influence the prioritization of product roadmap. Identify customer needs, desires, and value perceptions.
Maintain a strong partnership with other IT teams to ensure Proof of Concepts are effective and product launch performance exceeds associate expectations.
Analyze market trends and associate preferences to identify product opportunities. Develop product roadmap and implement strategies to grow adoption supporting the client's strategic priorities.
Investigate vendor offerings defining the fit to clients Security, Records Management, Privacy policies while ensuring they can be fully supported by IS Operations.
Conduct analysis to identify customer needs, desires, and value perceptions to help support and strengthen associate engagement with your assigned IT products.
Define product strategies including use cases, personas, associate experiences, and IT service levels to support IT goals.
Create a prioritized pipeline of new capabilities and influence the flow of work thru IT Service Delivery teams.
Work with Finance to develop an annual budget forecast to support product roadmap with a view towards a 3 to the 5-year budget cycle.
Develop sound business proposals that include: costs of the solution, target audience, expected return on investment.
Effectively present ideas and approaches to various levels of management throughout the organization.
Develop short and long term communication plans outlining key activities related to product adoption.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to five years of experience in IT product management.
Proven experience interpreting industry trends and customer needs to identify and build new product offerings Preferred Education.
Additional Qualifications and Experience:
Experience with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma methodologies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Ability to structure and manage multiple projects/initiatives.
Complete familiarity with product management life cycle and associated concepts regarding analytics, communications, and product design.
