As a Front-End Sales Engineer (Verkaufsingenieur/in), it is your exciting task to implement our sales strategy and to distribute our products and solutions to customers in Switzerland. In close cooperation with our internal service, you consult and convince customers of the benefits of our high-performance products. In addition to looking after existing customers, you are also responsible for the acquisition of new clients. You will systematically conclude contracts with business partners and thus contribute to a sustainable increase in our company's market share. Your responsibilities

  • Implementing our sales strategy for the defined customer portfolio in Switzerland by providing an excellent customer service for existing business partners and acquiring new ones
  • Promoting and expanding our business of products and service based on constantly updated sales plans for the respective segment
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through an outstanding service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions
  • Leading contract negotiations considering technical and commercial aspects, managing associated administrative sales processes (e.g. bid proposal management, tracking)
  • Monitoring customer and market trends and contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team
  • Managing all required documentation and reporting, such as creating account plans, reports in the CRM etc.
  • Your background

  • University degree or diploma of higher education (TS/HF) in a technical field
  • In-depth technical knowledge of motors, generators and drives
  • Demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy
  • Market and customer knowledge are a plus
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
  • Proven ability and drive to develop and manage customer relationships
  • Availability for travel throughout Switzerland, but mainly in the German-speaking part
  • Fluent in German and English, other languages are an advantage
