- Development of complex optomechanical assembly, testing and calibration systems for the entire Leica Geosystems product portfolio
- Development of precision mechanical tools
- Creative project work in a multidisciplinary environment such as optics, laser technology, electronics and software
- Creation of measurement and test concepts as well as system documentation
- Carrying out system tests with the developed systems and measuring instruments with subsequent commissioning with the client
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (FH, Uni) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, photonics or comparable training
- Experience in the use of CAD / PLM systems (Siemens NX/Teamcenter of advantage)
- In-depth knowledge of technical optics, optomechanical system development and image processing
- Experience with MATLAB, Python etc. is a plus
- Communicative, team-orientated and creative in thinking
- Genuine passion for technology
- Independent, structured and precise way of working with a hands-on mentality
- Knowledge of English and German (at least level B2 each)
