Your contribution to KPMG
Handling the Swiss VAT compliance of various clients and performing VAT reconciliations, data analytics etc.
Assisting your supervisor with research on various Indirect Tax topics and contribute to advisory mandates
Preparing and updating presentations, workshops and reports on national and international Indirect Tax topics
Assistance with other ad-hoc assignments and internal team activities as required
Close cooperation with other internal departments e.g. Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Audit, Advisory and Legal
This is what makes you successful
Currently completing a Bachelor or Master in Law, Tax Law or Economics, preferably with major in tax
A previous internship in a similar environment is an asset
Perfectly fluent in French and English. German is a plus
Curious, eager to learn and fast-learner
Efficient, ability to multi-task and prioritize and attentive to details
Self-driven motivation combined with flexibility and reliability
Be able to demonstrate team spirit and able to work in a multicultural environment

Our Indirect Tax team engages in a variety of challenges in the area of Indirect Tax including Swiss and International VAT, customs, excise duties and environmental taxes.

We advise our clients concerning their organization, the value chain and the processes. A particular focus is the interfaces between the Indirect Tax function and the enterprise technology both from a forward-looking (e.g. configuration, customization and optimization) and a backward looking (e.g. data analytics) perspective.
You work in a dynamic team of experts in Indirect Taxes.
