What can you expect?


As a Global Benefits Analyst (M/F/d), you will work as part of our team to provide consulting advice and services to the headquarters of our multinational clients on employee benefit matters around the world.

This includes working in client teams, sometimes from across WTW, on a broad variety of projects relating to benefits and rewards issues for their employees globally.

You will serve as a key resource for lead consultants in charge of the client engagements, providing analytic support on technical issues and project management activities, and support for client relationships.

As you grow and gain more expertise, you will become a key contact for the client and will begin taking on a larger project manager role within the team.

Key tasks associated with this role will be to work with senior consultants to:

  • Effectively manage projects using established project management processes and technology to deliver successfully across all countries
  • Provide proactive advice around the opportunities to optimize the way benefits are managed globally
  • Provide updates on local country activities and proactively identify and escalate issues
  • With support from our offshore support centres, engage in dialogue with incountry consultants/brokers as needed, to ensure local issues are resolved
  • Participate in regular (as necessary) calls both internally and with the client to communicate progress and resolve outstanding matters
  • Deal with issues that arise, and escalating as appropriate
  • Keep abreast of changes in legislation, market practice or otherwise, to identify issues that clients should be addressing
  • Ensure that wider client team is kept appraised of issues and brought into conversations as necessary
  • Support the use of WTW technology to help clients to maximize the value from the information collected
  • Support with contracting and invoicing for our services
  • Identify opportunities for integrating our services with other consulting services offered by WTW and working with senior consultants to support the realization of those opportunities
  • Support sales and marketing activities, including development of proposals and internal network management as well as intellectual capital and research activities
  • Build links with colleagues in other geographies and teams in our Health, Wealth and Career and Risk & Broking business segments in order to take integrated solutions to clients
  • Seek and participate in key learning and development opportunities

What are you bringing?

  • A minimum Bachelor level degree in Actuarial Science, Econometrics, other business mathematical studies, or similar
  • Preferably 13 years of experience working on global benefit programs, experience working on domestic benefits or compensation programs and a demonstrated interest in international issues
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English and German
  • A positive and friendly approach to work, with a keen desire to learn
  • Good interpersonal skills, preferably with an aptitude for managing multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong project management skills and good organizational abilities
  • A keen interest in the international benefits arena (knowledge of employee benefits in one or markets is a plus)
  • Selfmotivation and the ability to work effectively in teams, including remotely with colleagues in other countries
  • Strong desire to deliver highquality results, consistently and with a proactive approach to working with clients
  • Comfort in working in a global environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams
