Are you a results-oriented person who's able to handle multiple projects at different stages and achieve high customer satisfaction? Then you should join our Integrated Logistics Team.

Your Role :As a member of the Kuehne + Nagel Integrated Logistics Team, the Business Manager is the single point of contact between the customer and KN IL. In this role, you are the main contact for one of our Key Accounts and have the authority to direct the customer relationship from a strategic, tactical and operational point of view. You will closely interact internally with our 4PL Control Towers and Support Functions in an international environment to ensure that the global needs of the customer are being met by KN IL in all points as well as the growth of the relationship and volume of business.

Your Responsibilities:

Negotiation, administration and maintaining the customer MSA
Overall account management and P&L responsibility for customer; central point of escalation for customer concerns
Oversee of implementations to ensure alignment with customer expectations and financial objectives are met
Key contact to the customer to understand their strategy and direction in order to develop opportunities to grow the business
Responsibility of the available regional resources, teams and skills to ensure optimal customer service and continuous evaluation of it to deliver results for the customer and for KN
Responsible for global initiatives to improve and grow the business, such as the expansion of the scope of services or the standardization of products and services developed in close coordination with IL Business Development
Drive proactive suggestions for continuous improvement, drive cost reduction and deliver new projects with gain share and profit potential to drive NP2

Your Skills and Experiences:

Formal education in logistics with a very good understanding of the forwarding business
Management experience of at least 5 years
Proven track record in a main industry sector in Switzerland, Pharma & Healthcare industry would be a plus
Experienced in people and project management; procurement experience is a plus
High analytical skills and strong affinity to numbers (Excel) to deal with required customer quality standards
Willingness to travel up to 30% on an international level
Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
Very good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
