Head Finance & Accounting

Tasks

  • Manage and oversee the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Active and independent preparation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss Code of Obligations as well as in other diverse areas such as analyses, evaluation of statistics and project support
  • Ensuring transparent and timely reporting as well as account declarations and reconciliations
  • Periodical declaration of VAT, calculation of tax provision and preparation of tax return
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional and international teams to support financial decisionmaking
  • Prepare annual financial statements based on IFRS standards
  • Yearend tasks and audit preparations
  • Preparation of financial reports, forecasts and budget
  • Lead and support 2 team members to reach personal and team objectives
  • Daily handson tasks within Accounting, such as payment bookings etc.

Requirements:


  • Higher education in Accounting / Business Administration / Economics required
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an international working environment
  • Fluency in German and English is a must
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Infoniqa) and MS Office (proficient in Excel)
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in Swiss social security would be also a great advantage
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, discreet and reliable
  • Experience in team leadership
