Job Description:

Project MEP Lead Wanted for Major New Data Center Build in Zurich

We are seeking a highly experienced Project MEP Lead to join our team and oversee the construction of a major new data center in Zurich.

If you have a passion for managing large-scale complex MEP projects and have a focus on data centers or similar complex asset type, this role could be for you

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the MEP project budget, schedule, and resources.
Oversee the design/engineering/installation of MEP systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Coordinate with the Client, General Contractor, subcontractors, project team and other stakeholders.
Ensure all MEP work is completed safely and on time, to a high standard, and in accordance with relevant codes, standards and regulations, and contract.
Respond directly to any RFIs and Submittals related to MEP, coordinate them till closure in coordination with the Quality Manager.
Manage the procurement and installation of MEP equipment and materials.
Ensure proper testing and commissioning of MEP systems prior to start of operations.
Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
Represent the company to stakeholders and manage external relationships.
Prepare reports for MEP scope as per project pace.
Attend meetings as required

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Extensive experience in managing largescale MEP projects, preferably with a focus on data centres.
Strong expertise of relevant MEP codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
Fluency in English. German language skills highly advantageous.
This is a fulltime position based in Zurich and will report to the Lead Project Manager.
