What's the role?:

As a Data Governance Intern at Hilti, you will work with the Data Governance team in the Global Strategic Marketing department.

You will be responsible for supporting the team in various projects towards the establishment of Data Governance, such as building the foundation for data ownership, supporting the roll-out of our Data Governance platform, and implementing data-driven processes and use cases.

Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration of 5-6 months

What does the role involve?:

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of data and data governance, and to work with a team of experts in the Global Strategic Marketing department.

You will have the chance to work on exciting projects that will help shape the future of Hilti's data strategy.

As a Data Governance Intern, you will be part of implementing our vision, defining the communication approach, and supporting various data use cases in different domains to further bring data governance to our organization.

In this role, you will work in an open-minded and evolving environment that encourages innovation and creativity. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and learn from their expertise. You will play an integral role in emphasizing the importance of data governance in our organization.

What you need is:

Enrolled in a Bachelor's / Master's program in business, information systems, computer science or similar for the internship period
A proven track record in working with data analytics and project work
Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to synthesize, derive conclusions
Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment and demonstrated ability in stakeholder management
Fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus
