The Global Automation Service Product Market Manager plays an important role, driving and fostering a culture of collaboration, customer focus, embracing change, as well as ensuring strong topic leadership and vision.
In this role, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of Automation Service offering working in Business Line Mining with a mission to shape and drive automation advance service solutions.

Your responsibilities
:
- Strategy : Define and implement the overall automation service portfolio strategy for BL Mining.
- Upgrades/Retrofits
- Spare Parts
- Service (Care) Agreements
- Collaborative Operation Centre (CoC) business model, standardization and alignment with other BLs
- Marketing & Sales activities: Responsible for the assigned area product marketing, industry segment marketing, and both strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the local organization
- Ensures the markets globally are well monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and implementing coordinated marketing analyses and activities
- Liaise with Marcom team for a communication strategy. E.g. success stories, launch new solution, technical info updates etc.
- Structure marketing material for internal and external use.
- Technical Webinars (educational internal and external to customers).
- Join Sales meetings, support with technical and commercial negotiations
- Develop the culture of consulting sales for recurring revenue solutions
- Drive cyber security sales and execution in alignment with BL Digital
- Support sales teams with bid & proposal templates, content, and costing/pricing.
- Support sales/service teams on the tools, e.g. My Control System, ServIS, etc...
- Market situation analysis : Leads market intelligence analysis and customer needs analysis.
- Understands and defines current market segmentation and related offering positioning including relevant regulations and standards
- Identifies potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunity e.g. M&A
- Existing products : Owns the technical and market specification for the offering and determines a business plan that supports sustainable growth.
- Leads life cycle management process, analyses current offering, defines and tracks
- Utilize the tools e.g. My Control System, white spot manager, ServIS, ASM reporting, Sofa etc.
- New product development : Defines new offering plans, sets technical, price, cost and capital expenditure targets.
- Contributes to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, followup of offering portfolio performance
- Internal/external interface: Acts as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, and Research & Development, Supply Chain etc.), forecasting volume trends on a regular basis to ensure Operation's capability to fulfil customer orders
- Lead interface with PCP on behalf of BL(s) automation service teams and drive our requirements towards PCP
- Also, collaborate and develop relations with PAEN to learn, share and leverage experiences from and to.
- People leadership and development : Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- Drives and ensures knowhow sharing and crosscollaboration.
- Works closely with local teams to drive growth on the portfolio and ensure success.
- Build up their competence and provide them the confidence to take on more responsibility and accountability
- Drive mindset for recurrent revenues and subscription models for automation systems
Your background
:
- 10+ years of experience working within engineering, product management, site service and/or sales roles of automation solutions e.g. 800xA
- Strong knowhow and exposure in lifecycle and service of automation solutions in
