Scientist in System Sustainability Life Cycle Evaluation

Your Responsibilities_ You make a difference:_** Spearhead research and development projects creating and implementing methods and tools for the life cycle assessment of current and next generation of products and systems-
_ You innovate:_ Develop user-friendly tools to estimate the environmental impact of complex systems including data mining, methods to estimate missing data, and models for linking the environmental impacts between design elements-
_ You take initiative:_ Collaborate with a global team of researchers and engineers in Hitachi Energy Research and Hitachi Energy business units to identify and solve real-world problems and realize opportunities for further improvements-
_ You connect:_ Build relationships within the company and actively share your knowledge and expertise. Interact with local and global external partners including universities, start-ups, and vendors.-
Requirements:

PhD degree in science, engineering or a relevant field-
Deep experience in modelling and assessing of the life cycle of complex systems-
Relevant experience with data science and programming (e.g. Python, R, etc,)-
Committed to taking an interdisciplinary approach, collaborating with experts from different domains to develop cutting edge solutions with high strategic impact-
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
