Strategy, Planning, Management

Assisting in translation of business vision into technical capabilities
Stakeholder Management, Liaising with Delivery Leads, Architects and Product Owners
Ensuring accurate and complete documentation of the Application
Management of the SW Vendor and Implementation Partner
Communication to IT Service Owners regarding Application limitations, roadmap, architecture and strategy

Product Management

Definition of the Application roadmap and strategy together with the Product Owner and Central Architecture
Managing Application lifecycle and adherence to non functional requirements

Design, Build and Test of Application

Designing and developing complex business rules
Guidance of less senior Business Rules developers, code review
Unit testing, CI/CD pipeline
Deciding on Application readiness for production together with Product Owner and IT Service Owners

Domain/Application Specific Know How, Architecture and Standards

Application architecture: Business Rules platform and solutions
Lead engineering and indepth technical understanding of the Application
Definition of Application specific architecture and solution and integration into overall architecture

Operations

YOUR CHALLENGE:

Acts as a peer to the Product Owner and Business Stakeholders, ensures adequate representation of Application design, development and operations aspects within the vendors backlog
Ensure the adherence of the Application design with standards and guidelines of architecture. In case of gaps, the Application Responsible identifies and mitigates risks and debts
Supervise the software development and technical implementation within the Actico Rule Engine Platform (including own handson development), continuously push to shift left (unit / automation testing, CI/CD), and decides with IT Service Owner on production readiness from IT perspective
Derive and ensures quality of the technical requirements including the definition of test cases (for nonfunctional requirement tests)
Plan releases for all projects and the product in strong collaboration with the corresponding Product Owner, Business Stakeholders and IT Service Owner within the banks Change

Ensure sustainable, stable, and maintainable platform and solutions
Responsibility of technical roadmap of the Actico Rule Engine Platform
Supplier Management: Technical SPOC towards vendor
Provide 3rd level support within the supportorganization of incident & problem management
Contribute to proper documentation

YOUR PROFILE:

Good presentation skills and visualization of issues and solution in Powerpoint and Visio. As such drives Big Picture and context
Development skills (Java) with business rules scripting experience
Team oriented, flexible, proactive, autonomous, persistent and sustainable. Able to collaborate, listen and exchange ideas and fluency in English and German
Commitment and passion for deliver a high quality solutions with reasonable amount of effort
End to End thinking
Empathy for business
University Degree in computer science (Masters at University/ETH/FH) or equivalent
Certified Agilist and/or Scaled Agilist (SAFe) is a plus
Familiar with build tools and repository managers
Very good understanding of software development/ customization processes
Knowledge in financial sector resp. specific business knowledge is a plus (e.g. advisory, portfolio management, trading)
High level of commitment and passion to deliver high quality solutions
Serviceoriented personality and a team player with a "can do" attitude
Proficient in English and preferably German (written and spoken)
