FE fundinfo is a leading fund data provider. We facilitate better, more efficient investing by connecting Asset Managers and Distributors globally.

We service over 800 asset managers and over 4,000 distributors, including wealth managers, platforms, private banks, technology providers and financial advice firms, acting as a one-stop for participants of our global fund data ecosystem.

We are currently looking for a Head of Distributor Product Strategy to join our team in Zurich.


Your key responsibilities as a Head of Distributor Product Strategy will be to**:

  • Define FE fundinfo's long-term product vision, using data-driven analysis and customer feedback to establish priorities for product roadmap
  • Collaborate with the entire product strategy team at FE fundinfo to connect and strengthen the link between asset managers, financial advisers and distributors & data partners communities which is one of the key strengths of FE fundinfo.
  • Lead the distributor and data partner agenda within the wider FE fundinfo business ensuring alignment with strategic growth plans across the other customer segments (Asset Managers and Financial Advisers)
  • Regular presentation to and interaction with the Executive Management, including financial performance, leading indicators, churn analysis, sales and marketing plans, product roadmaps and strategic initiatives
  • Manage strategic partnerships: integration of 3rd party offerings in our own value proposition, define contract terms with partner supported by legal, provide guidance to legal to adapt client contract, define pricing and added value as well as define operating model
  • Manage relationships with network of nonpaying consumers of data ("data partners"), ensuring the shared outcomes benefit our clients as well as the data partners
  • Gain a deep understanding of data requirements from distributors and data partners in order to identify opportunities for FE fundinfo to work with them and help our clients to fulfil their obligations towards these distributors and data partners as part of our Dissemination service
  • Research opportunities for growth looking at markets, regulations, client need and competitors
  • Launch new products and features aimed at distributors and data partners, acting as the 'champion' for our network of distributors and data partners
  • Support the commercial, marketing and product development teams in defining and executing the gotomarket strategy and influence the product delivery roadmap ensuring deliverables line up with the wider strategic objectives of FE fundinfo
  • Lead client initiatives and create a customer advisory group within our distributor and data partner ecosystem
  • Represent FE fundinfo in the media, industry associations and events to create awareness for our data product and services together with our marketing and commercial teams
  • Maintain a culture of consistent customerfocused innovation
  • Provide input on key initiatives addressing product strategy and profitability objectives
  • Periodically review existing services to ensure that they continue to be fit for purpose
  • Identify opportunities to complete the value proposition, through either buy/build/partner options. Research and recommend the best path forward to enhance the customer proposition and deliver against strategic business objectives

To join us as a
Head of Distributor Product Strategy, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • You must have specific product or product strategy experience in the fund industry
  • You will ideally have experience working for a distributor (bank, fund platform, wealth manager, etc.) or data partner (ideally, on funds data) or have extensive knowledge of how a distributor works and operates
  • You must have commercial/product development experience in a B2B environment
  • You will have experience of building product based on customer value
  • You must have excellent commercial instincts and strong stakeholder management skills
  • You will have demonstrable analytical and presentation skills
  • You will have the ability to demonstrate longterm thinking and decision making
  • You will have the ability to prioritise and meet firm deadlines in a fastpaced environment
