Your role

Are you a motivated selfstarter, naturally curious and someone who likes to challenge status quo? Risk management topics ring a bell and you want to have an impact on various firmwide initiatives in a complex environment? You are keen to tackle complex projects?
If so, we are looking for someone like you to join us as a Business Risk Manager and to create sustainable success together.
In your new role you will:
Leading the development and continuous improvement of the design and operating effectiveness of our control frameworks in the area of Financial Crime Prevention business
Take responsibility for the endtoend delivery of select risk and regulatory initiatives or workstreams, also in the light of a large integration program
Act as sparring partner and engage in ongoing tracking and review of initiative deliverables, reporting progress and recommending changes
Conduct risk assessments and synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations across all management levels
Ensure that risks and issues are identified, reported and escalated as required
Collaborate with key business partners (e.g., Compliance, Business Representatives) as well as internal / external auditors on various topics
Work closely with UBS's Agile Delivery Organization to drive change with a focus on enabling business model transformation, implementing new legal/regulatory requirements and establishing robust and efficient processes.

Your expertise
- minimum 8+ years of professional experience in the financial / service industry
- relevant experience in Financial Crime Prevention and risk framework knowhow
- willingness to work on different topics at the same time
- ability to communicate, listen, understand and learn quickly
- self-organized, independent, proactive and solution-oriented
- a critical thinker with strong analytical skills (including data analytics)

Project management experience / transformation skills
- affinity to data management and IT as well as knowledge of UBS is a plus
- proficiency in English. German and other languages are a plus.
