Student Assistant at the Development Economics Group:


20%, Zurich, fixed-term:


The Development Economics Group (ETH-DEC) at ETH Zurich is seeking a motivated and currently enrolled student to work on a research study
for 3 months.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to academic research. The position entails flexible working hours and is based in Zurich.


Starting time is
July 1st - September 30th 2023 (or latest September 1st - November 30th).**
Job description:For a research study, your main responsibility will be to visit different types of retailers.

You will act as a regular customer, ensuring consistent behaviour during each interaction. Your role will involve observing and evaluating the process during the shopping experience.

After each visit, you will be required to fill out a questionnaire, capture important information related to the study, adhere to the study protocol, and maintain the highest level of confidentiality throughout the research process.


Your profile:

You have a genuine interest in consumer behaviour, enjoy interacting with people and have excellent communication skills. Proficiency in German _and_ English is essential for this position. In addition, you should hold outstanding observational skills and are keen to pay attention to detail.
