This position is located at our corporate office in Baar, Switzerland.


Overview:
The F&B Development Coordinator is part of the Global Food and Beverage Development Team.

The primary function of this role is to provide support and structure to the Global Food and Beverage Development Team.

The focus of this team is to oversee all F&B development of the Aman strategic development of the F&B concepts across the group.

The team develops new concepts for restaurants and bars within Aman.

Projects are for examples re-launches to invigorate existing restaurants and F&B operations, supporting the design and technical team in both hotel openings as well as renovations in existing hotels, and developing independent restaurant brands, co-partnerships, retail, and online services.


Responsibilities:

The F&B Development Coordinator is responsible to lead and support the Global F&B Development Team by easing communication and uniting this international team to keep them moving forward on a multitude of on-going projects and deadlines.

The F&B Project Manager is a multi-talented professional that will be the right hand to the F&B Executive Team.

Following any meetings, this colleague will support, regroup and share the creative input into new and/or existing developments from all perspective.

The F&B Development Coordinator responsibilities will include, and not limited to, the following:

  • Support projects, tracking necessary action and updating reports and cloud as progress is made.
  • Be a central, key, coordinator between the corporate office, the different Aman locations, and the Global Team. Act as the "F&B Global Team Ambassador".
  • Represent Global Food and Beverage Team when they are not available, to be debriefed.
  • Schedule, coordinate and arrange appointments for the Global Food and Beverage Team.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and book travel arrangements as required for Global Food & Beverage Team.
  • Schedule, coordinate and manage F&B Meetings, monthly calls, take and distribute minutes, and arrange/attend meetings as required.
  • Support in the follow through and implementation of global F&B contracts, shipping and customs organisation for Regional and Global projects and contracts.
  • Support and coordinate potential Regional or Global gatherings and events for Global F&B Team or International VIP Guests of Aman
  • Support, liaise and follow through the invoicing of F&B Corporate.
  • Support in the budget process by gathering the necessary data from various leaders, departments, and properties.
  • Review websites and ensure they are up to date and provide related departments with materials as necessary.
  • Creation of development focused decks with leaders and ensure that the documents remain up to date based on project development.
  • Manage and update F&B standards and documentation, as established by the team, to ensure we develop a consistent approach and system.
  • Assist and coordinate with Marketing, Branding, PR, and Events teams.
  • Support organize workshops.
  • Support with translations as required and available.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or hospitality/ tourism
  • Minimum 3+ years' work experience in a corporate and confidential environment, ideally in the hospitality industry.
  • Right to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU passports only)
  • A passion and interest for the food and beverage sector.
  • Proficient in English. Any additional language is a plus.
  • Previous operational F&B experience preferred.
  • Selfdriven, reliable and organised. Team player with strong initiative and selfdirection.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Professional telephone and video conference presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a multitime zone workspace / calendar. Supporting different Regions at the time o
