Job Responsiblities:
Shared responsibility for the day
to
day operation of the biology lab and associated equipment (e.g. cell culture incubators, safety cabinets, pipette control)
Collaboration with scientists on project work on cell and tissue cultures with biochemical and molecular biological analysis
Active participation in the training of apprentices, students and scholarship holders
Projectrelated documentation and help with editing SOP guidelines
Implementing and ensuring safety regulations in the laboratory

Job Requirements:

Completed training as a laboratory technician (EFZ Fachrichtung Biologie) or equivalent training
Theoretical and practical experience in mammalian cell culture
Experience in 3D cell culture is an advantage
Experience in biochemical and molecular biological analysis (e.g. spectrophotometric analysis, realtime polymerase chain reaction) is an advantage
A good command of English (oral and written) is required
Enjoyment and interest in working in an international team
