WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As Production Manager Electromechanics (M/F/d) you will be responsible in a key function for a modern and partly automated production (quantities > 100,000 pcs/year) at Rheinmetall Air Defence AG.

You will lead, motivate and develop your employees (approx. 60 employees). In doing so, you will ensure and improve the requirements-oriented process in your department.

Specifically, you will take on the following tasks:

Management of the production in time, quantity and quality according to planning specifications
Monitoring, controlling and optimizing current production processes, especially with regard to customeroriented order processing
Optimization of processes, lead times and structures in the sense of a continuous improvement process
Targetoriented approach to technical problems, changes and deviations from the normal case in production
Expansion and assurance of LEAN production with a high degree of value added
Management of employees incl. personnel and shift planning
Professional coordination of task processing
Customer contact and support
Reporting to the superior

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Completed training as an electronics technician, polymechanic or comparable
Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering
Completed postgraduate diploma in the economic field
Several years of management experience required
Experience in the field of component manufacturing as well as in principles of LEAN management
Business fluent German as well as good English skills
