The incubation unit of Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Finance Manager.

In this function, you will report to the Head of Head of Finance of the Incubation Unit and will implement, manage, and oversee commercial functions and business administration activities for the incubation unit of Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

In the incubation unit Emerging Transportation Platform, we help fleet customer to decarbonize their fleets and their depots.

Your new responsibilites

As a financial and commercial manager, you help developing business/financial strategies that will grow the incubation unit with the global targets and expectations
You support financial bid management and consult customers on finance matters, e.g. financing solutions and XaaS business models
You lead all aspects of business planning and modelling, forecasting, budgeting, risk management, reporting, and ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Guidelines
Act as a business partner to the function heads of the CTO Incubation Unit of Smart Infrastructure and direct the finance activities in the target countries including financial project control
As an innovative leader, you empower and balance a team of highly skilled and engaged employees across the business units and regions, like sales and service organizations, IT, procurement, and order management.
Develop and nurture a longterm trustbased relationship with key internal stakeholders and partners, with financial services, tax and, support functions to ensure efficient risk management and internal control systems.
Focus on new business models and their applicability in line with external and internal accounting and reporting guidelines
Act as an outstanding role model, by building a culture of innovation, teamwork, ownership, and trust
Drive digitalization in finance and improve financial processes to allow for transformative business innovation

Your talents and past experiences:

Education: Degree or professional certification in either Finance, Accounting, or related field
More than 10 years of experience in commercial leadership roles in infrastructure or energy, including service and resultsoriented business models
A resultsdriven, customercentric, and handson mindset with intercultural sensitivity and the ability to collaborate with teams across various business units and partners around the world
Profound understanding of internal business processes from sales, project execution to performancebased services
Strong financial, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability to work closely with all disciplines within the business (sales, project execution, customer success, finance) and to rapidly build a high level of acceptance
Ability to build trust internally and externally through clear communication, credibility, and leadership
Expertise in IFRS and Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (SFRGs).
Strong growth mindset, thinking outside the box, comfortable outside the comfort zone and in an agile environment and a startup culture
Willingness to take calculated risks and drive breakthrough innovations.
Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Location preferably in Europe
