Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Finance & Payroll Accountant to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis located in Basel.

Our client is focused on meeting the medical needs of rare illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

For this role, you will handle personnel database in SAP concur to reflect the accomplishment and precision of all HRlinked changes such as employee in/out, cost center, line manager, etc.
Responsible for preparing monthly profit and loss & balance sheet reconciliations of all payrolllinked accounts.
Uphold the internal payroll accounting tools up to date, such as list of headcounts by cost center.
Recognise and suggest improvement initiatives to optimise the payroll accounting procedures.
Contribute to the preparation and evaluation of the payroll runs in coordination with the HR team.
You will partake in or drive finance procedure or finance systems improvement projects.
Offer complete payroll accounting.
Support the updating and enforcing ICS procedures.
Check, verify and guarantee compliant precise processing of travel expense reports in collaboration with the accounting team.
Guarantee communication to shareholders in a clear and proactive manner.
Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

Familiarity working with payroll.
At least 57 years of pertinent experience working in global groups and organisations.
Acquaintance working in a pharma, life science or biotech organisation would be advantageous.
Experience with ERP and included in accounting projects such as systems execution, migration, etc.
Prior involvement in SAP Concur would be beneficial.
