Global Development Internship:

80%-100%, Zurich, fixed-term:

ETH for Development (ETH4D) is an ETH-wide initiative that develops innovations that address global development challenges and educates students in sustainable development.

NADEL Center for Development and Cooperation inspires and trains graduates and professionals working on global cooperation for a more equitable world.

We have an open internship starting April 2023 and lasting for 6 months.

Job description:

You will support the ETH4D and NADEL executive offices with various administrative, management and communication tasks, which may include:

Support the preparation and implementation of the KNUST-ETH Global Development Summer School on sustainable mobility to be held in Ghana in September 202
Provide administrative support for the Mechatronics Master Programme jointly offered with Ashesi University in Ghana
Provide administrative support for the MAS and CAS in Development and Cooperation
Prepare content for communication activities, e.g. manage websites, social media channels and newsletters
Organize and prepare meetings, public events, seminars and conferences
Provide input to and edit concept notes, proposals etc. in English

Your profile:

You fulfil the following requirements:

Pursuing or completing Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field
Dedication to detail, openminded, excited to learn new things, able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic team
Fluent in English (oral and written), with strong written communication skills
Excellent command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus
Outstanding intercultural communication skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
Experience with organizing courses, summer schools, conferences, etc. is a plus
Experience in the field of international development and German skills are a plus
