About the role**:

BP&A: Drive process standardization and coordinate OpU forecasting/updates to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial planning and reporting

API Business partnering:Engage in business partnering by working closely with API team managers to develop functional spend plan/forecasts and to calculate purchase price variance/cogs variance (Supporting budget: 25 FTE's / 12 OY)
- **Quality Business partnering**: Engage in business partnering with the OESSM Quality team to develop analytical and stability spend budgets (Supporting budget: 129 FTE / 57 OY)
- **Create financial transparency**: through monthly performance dialogues, including risks and opportunities, and engage in proactive and collaborative scenario development, such as for LOE cases, to enable the organization to react promptly to changing business dynamics.
- **Others**: Will implement and lead system improvement initiatives and support digital initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.
How you will contribute:

BP&A
- Lead efforts to harmonize and standardize processes and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of forecast and actual cycles for OESSM through effective coordination.
- Effectively consolidate financial plans, prepare reports, and challenge the accuracy and completeness of both budget and actual cycles.
- Lead and drive GPT submissions for OESSM & GSC.
- Lead and drive FTE Planning Module in GPT for OESSM & GSC.
- Run global analysis and present results to management.
- Provide assistance and resources to regional teams as needed.
- **Business Partnering*
- Responsible for API P&L ownership, which involves managing COGS variances, standard costing calculations, PPV, inventory changes, and inventory writeoff/reserve analysis for externally manufactured products.
- Conduct monthly API closing activities, including accruals, overseeing the monthly accounting process with the TBS, analyzing COGS variances, inventory revaluation, inventory discards, project spend, and performing quarterly reviews of CMO reconciliation.
- Responsible for API ownership of the planning and forecasting process, ensuring accurate results and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct financial analysis, scenario planning, and decision support for API products to demonstrate the impact of investment or business changes on product costing, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that enable the site to achieve financial goals.
- Provide support to API business partners by conducting analysis and calculating inventory provisions.
- Collaborate with Business and Procurement to perform API standard cost calculation and analysis
Others
- Provide assistance in ensuring compliance with a range of financial regulations and requirements.
- Facilitate the implementation of new digital tools by conducting frequent training sessions for finance team members and business partner.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in BA, Accounting or Finance and 5 or more years of relevant experience
- MBA and CPA (or equivalent) is a plus
- Strong business acumen and ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills (need intellectual "curiosity")
- Experience influencing Global business partners
- Experience with ERP Systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle), TM1 (GPT) and Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) is a strong plus.
