Viktoria Lapshyna

I’m a Data Scientist in the final stage of my master’s program. I’m passionate about storytelling with data and have demonstrated how it can unravel insights about businesses and how proper data manipulation can be useful in making decisions. I’m excited to continue exploring the magic of the big data world at my next job.

I have done multiple projects, spanning all machine learning pipeline stages: problem identification and data gathering to full model implementation. 

Some of the examples are: 

• Computer vision for informal settlements detection in collaboration with the United Nations
• Data engineering for a large pharmacological client at McKinsey 
• Time series forecasting at H&Z

I am currently completing the MSc. Data Engineering and Analytics at the Technical Univeristy of Munich. 

Earlier, I have worked as a Java Software Developer and Data Science/Engineering consultant.
