Startup Founder: Robotics and AI Vision – Zürich
During my free time July 2023 to present
∙ The startup aims to use robotics and AI (computer vision) to revolutionize the way vegetables are grown, monitored,
and harvested in the agricultural industry.
∙ Designed and implemented a robot prototype (~1m x 1m x 1m) using 3D modeling software (FreeCAD) and a personal
3D printer.
∙ Utilized a Raspberry Pi 4B controller and an Ubuntu machine with ROS 2 for robot control, managing actuators,
stepper motors, sensors, and more. Employed IR sensors, ToF stereo cameras, and a Kinect V2 for robot vision.
∙ Developed various Machine Learning models for AI vision to recognize vegetables and detect potential diseases.
Fine-tuned pre-trained large vision models from HuggingFace (e.g., Detectron 2 with Pytorch) on Google Colab. Prepared
the dataset using OpenCV, with input images in RGB and RGB-D formats from the ToF and Kinect cameras.

KPMG DATA & Microsoft – Zürich
Full-time Senior Data Science Consultant October 2021 to present
∙ Introduced C-level executives to Microsoft Copilot, explaining its functionality and main features. Implemented
and presented a live demo, and initiated proposals.
∙ Implemented a RAG(Retrieval Augmented Generation) architecture using Open AI GPT-4 model on Azure for client
demonstrations at a conference. Presented the product to clients and initiated proposals.
∙ Managed and implemented a big data AI fuzzy-matching project (matching between account owner names) and
pattern recognition project (flagging suspicious transaction flows) as part of the merging of two international Swiss
banks. Explained the algorithms to client’s upper management employees (with non technical backgrounds).
∙ Implemented an end-to-end automatized NLP pipeline project on the cloud using Azure ML Studio and Azure
Synapse Analytics. Organized and delegated the work to outsourced colleagues from India. Showcased the ML
pipeline to the client.
∙ Presented Azure Machine Learning Services using non-technical wordings as part of an MVP for a client proposal.
Collected information about the client’s business processes and suggested the right Azure AI Services to streamline
their operations.
∙ Implemented a Python API for data collection using Postgresql (database), Django (backend) and React (frontend)
as part of a risk assessment tool for a Swiss bank. Organized recurrent business meetings to collect information about
the bank’s control framework.
∙ Designed a pricing simulation / optimization pipeline on Python using historical transaction data stored on a Postgres
database to compare two discount schemes under different economical scenarios. Presented the results to the
client using an interactive HTML dashboard.
∙ Evaluated the correctness of banking control descriptions using NLP with Spacy and Fasttext on Python. Automated
the pipeline through an Azure function on the cloud. Presented the results to the client on a Power BI dashboard.
∙ Implemented a contract management tool (finding similar clauses between different contracts) on Python with
Azure Cloud (Synapse & ML Studio) using NLP with pre-trained HuggingFace Sentence Transformers.
∙ Designed a ML time-series forecasting pipeline for sales prediction of a F100 tech company using LGBM.

∙ Thesis outline: reconstruct the 3D genome structure from biological data using Deep Learning.
∙ A significant part of the work included interviews with SMEs and reading papers.
∙ Improved the mean squared error prediction of previous works by 70% using transfer learning on PyTorch.
