Emma Ryves

I am a dynamic, passionate teacher with eighteen years teaching experience. I have developed an excellent understanding of the Early Years' curriculum along with leading my current Early Years department. I am passionate about not only helping to support the growth and development of children in primary education, but also aiding colleagues with issues and augmenting their ability to deliver the highest quality of education possible to pupils. I am hard working, creative, easily adaptable to meet the needs of the students, work well as a team member and am able to inspire others. I have also a number of years experience teaching in international schools that cater for a wide variety of international students and this is reflective in my practice. 

I have been teaching for over 18 years, mainly in the Early Years, working with children from 18 months to 6 years old. I have taught in a range of different schools in many different countries around the world. I have taught a variety of Curriculums and also developed my own philosophies linked to the Early Years. I have planned lessons, observed the children and assessed them against the curriculum. As well as working closely with other teachers, teaching assistants and parents. In the last 4 years I have taken on more responsibilities by leader Early Years teams, varying in size and experience.

I studied a BA Honours degree in Primary Teaching with QTS, specialising in Early Years at Winchester University.
